About WealthVieu
WealthVieu is an independent personal finance resource covering the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. We build data-driven calculators, comparison tools, and guides that help people make informed financial decisions — from buying a home to planning for retirement.
What We Do
We turn raw government data into answers to real financial questions. Our site includes:
- Financial calculators — Mortgage affordability, income percentile, net worth percentile, compound interest, debt payoff, and retirement planning tools
- Rate trackers — Current mortgage rates, savings account rates, CD rates, and historical rate data updated regularly
- Data-driven guides — Tax brackets, contribution limits, salary data, cost-of-living comparisons, and benefit eligibility explained with real numbers
- Product comparisons — Side-by-side comparisons of savings accounts, credit cards, insurance, and financial products based on independent research
Our Data Methodology
Every number on WealthVieu traces back to a primary source. We don’t scrape other finance sites or rely on unverified data. Our sources include:
- United States: IRS, Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), U.S. Census Bureau, Federal Reserve Survey of Consumer Finances, Social Security Administration, FDIC, FHFA, CFPB, Department of Education
- Canada: Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Statistics Canada, Bank of Canada, CMHC
- United Kingdom: HMRC, Office for National Statistics (ONS), Bank of England, FCA, Low Pay Commission
When we build calculators, we use the same underlying data and formulas that professionals use. Our income percentile calculator, for example, uses IPUMS Current Population Survey microdata from the U.S. Census Bureau — the same dataset economists and researchers rely on.
Our Editorial Team
Content is created by the WealthVieu editorial team. Every article goes through a research, writing, and fact-checking process before publication. For financial topics that significantly affect your money (taxes, retirement, investing, insurance), we work with expert reviewers to verify accuracy. Read more about this process in our Editorial Policy.

Editorial Independence
WealthVieu is independently operated.
